US governor admits having affair

The Republican Governor Mark Sanford admits that he has been visiting his secret Argentine lover. The governor of the US state of South Carolina, admitted recently that he has been having an affair with a woman, an extra-marital affair with a woman from Argentina. The doubts raised in family when he recently disappeared for several days without having told a word neither to his family nor staff. He had been visiting Argentina. After having accepted his faults now he says that he will resign from the post as the head of the Republican Governor’s Association. Though he said he would resign from the post, he however who has been the potential Republican candidate for the 2012 presidential elections did not mention about leaving his office. Mr. Sanford in a recent conference emotionally expressed his feelings and said that he had let down a lot of people. He narrated his relationship as that he had been getting close with this very dear friend of his who was from Argentina. The affair he said was for about a year. He also was ashamed and said that he had been unfaithful to his wife and that he also added that he had been spending five days crying in Argentina.
